Recommended mods and upgrades

NUMBER 1

The most common electrical signal output fault is caused by a dirty/corroded (poor quality) mono input jack. By upgrading to a high quality Switchcraft stereo jack and creating an extra earth contact with the unused ring lug which like the tip connection, will be cleaned every time you plug in, the chance of signal failer is much reduced.

This mod is inexpensive and highly recommended for any passive pickup system!

NUMBER 2

Aloy jackplate. Much more reliable and less likely to loosen than the traditional tele or gibson style plastic plate .

NUMBER 3

Compensated brass saddles for Fender telecaster. Better intonation and tone.

NUMBER 4

Fender stratocaster pickup blender wiring mod. By connecting the bridge and neck pickup to one of the tone pots you can create either a tele tone or just slightly fatten up the bridge and brighten up the neck position.

NUMBER 5

The LR Baggs anthem sl is my favourite acoustic steel string pickup system offering the brightness and sensitivity of an internal mic, and the fast attacking, warm mids and lows of an under saddle transducer.
